There are a number of places where you could listen to good live music around the Bay.

The Whitsand Bay Hotel and the Finnygook Inn have music on most Friday nights.

The Rod and Line at Tideford as live music most weekends, the Finnygook Inn at Crafthole occassionally as live music with some performances by the Friday Night Boys.

A bit further away both Torpoint and Plymouth have a very active music scene with many pubs and Clubs offering a wide range of music to suite different tastes.
